If you got a citation for using a handheld device in a non-hands-free manner texting or talking on a hand-held device while driving through a Work Zone or School Zone, then this is the course that you can elect to take to waive the fine and prevent points from appearing on your driving record.

If you are pulled over for using a handheld device twice within 5 years, you will not be able to prevent the points from being added to your license by taking this course. However, it would be considered a moving violation, which would allow you to elect to attend a BDI course to prevent the points in that way.
